Blockchain as a word seems ambiguous because it’s useful for so many things. Microcontrollers, or “microcomputers” as they were called sometimes back in the 80s, are in everything. Your washing machine has them, your water heater, your coffee maker, your oven, your car, your watch… So what IS a microcomputer? It’s neither of those things, it’s a very specific piece of technology that has very versatile uses.
Blockchain, technically, is about as ambiguous as “microprocessor”.
